Donald Frederick Bennett
Died Wed. March 16, 2022-age 85 of Hubbardston
Born July 23, 1936 to Frederick & Madeline (Fahey) Bennett.
Don served in the U.S. Army, stationed much of the time in Alaska as a Radio 
Operator.
He was a lifelong farmer, earned a degree in Agriculture from MSU.
Retired from theMuir Post Office as a Post Master.
He loved to read & watch Westerns and enjoyed living on Rock Lake, where he 
spent hours in his paddleboat & tinkering with radio-controlled boat & planes.
Don loved spending time with his grandchildren & great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Bennett; son-in-law, Kurt Stowell; 
grandchildren, Kaci (Jason) Jones, Eric (Keshia) Stowell, David (Trish) 
Burleson, & Eden Bowen, great-grandchildren, Lilly, Madison, Bella, Gracin, 
Ayla, Kaid, & Kira.  Also survived by daughters, Wendy Bennett & Dianna (Dennis) 
Bowen; & daughter0in-law, Michelle Bennett.
Was preceded in death by his parents; children, Fred Bennett, Lynn Stowell, and 
Scotty Bennett; and sister, Suzanne Bennett.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Don on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 11 
am at St.John the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 20 at Lux Funeral Home in Carson City, from 
2-4 & 4-9 p.m.with Rosary at 3:30 p.m.
Burial will be at St.John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery following the funeral.
