                               BENNETT

Eli Scott Bennett, age 34, of Saranac, MI passed away February 8, 2023, after 
struggling with health issues. He was born on December 27, 1988, in Ionia the 
son of Bryon and Marti (Gladding) Bennett.

Eli graduated with the Class of 2007 from Ionia High School where he played in 
the high school band.He enjoyed writing and listening to rap music with friends. 
he was the witty friend who was always available, drove everyone around, and 
defended the underdog.

Eli is survived by his parents, Bryon and Marti Bennett of Lyons; siblings, 
Conner (Allison) Bennett of Lyons, Sherrie Mason and Kyle Schafer of Lyons and 
Stacy Gladding of Fenwick; nephews, Evan Clover, and James Mason; grandmother, 
Bonnie Bennett of Parma; aunts and uncles, Kim Gladding (Crystal) of Lyons, Mike 
(Robin) Bennett of Parma and extended family and friends that are too many to 
list.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Brynn Bennett, grandfather, James 
Bennett; grandparents, Martin and Sandra Gladding and nephew Parker Gladding.

A Memorial service will be held at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on February 18th 
11 AM with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating.A Visitation will be held 1 hour 
prior to services. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to his family.
