              BENNETT

Ronald Eugene Bennett, age 87 of Muir passed away December 5, 2024. He was born 
February 18,1937 in Hubbardston, Michigan the son of Henry R. and Eileen 
(Martin) Bennett. Ron married Trudie Jane Little July 12, 1958 in Palo, she 
preceded him in death June 25,2014.

Ron graduated from Lyons High School with the class of 1955. He worked at 
General Motors from 1960 until his retirement in 1990.

Ron loved woodworking, yard work and going to auctions. He always kept an 
immaculate lawn.

He is survived by his sons,Mark(Julie)Bennett of Ionia, Timothy (Debra) Bennett 
of Greenville and Chris (Carol) Bennett of Saranac. Grandchildren, 
Sarah(Taleb)Farhat of Greenville, Jenna Bennett of Okemos, 
Braden(Kaitlynne)Bennett, Nathan Lindy of Grand rapids, Chauntel Bennett of Las 
Vegas,Cory (McKenna)Bennett of Grand Rapids, Cody Bennett of Saranac, Brenton 
(Amanda)Wells of California,Bradley (Melissa)Wells of Lowell and Nicole 
(Randy)Thayer of Portland. Several great-grandchildren. Brother 
Gary(Edith)Bennett of Muir. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Trudie 
and sister Marilyn Kirby.

Funeral services were held at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Monday,December 
9th at Noon.Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Muir. Visitation was at 
the Funeral Home form 10 a.m. until the time of services. Those wishing may make 
memorial contributions to Ionia Commission on Aging. Online condolences may be
