Bennett LAKE ODESSA- Mrs. Wilma M. Bennett, 39, of 1505 Fourth avenue, died Tuesday morning at Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids after an extended illness. Mrs. Bennett was born September 19, 1937, in Lowell, the daughter of Lester and Agnes Knapp Dawson. She was a 1955 graduate of Lowell high school. She married Jerry Bennett, October 7, 1955 in Lowell and lived in New York and Alaska while he was servicing with the Armed Forces. They also lived in Clarksville, moving to Lake Odessa in 1967. Mrs. Bennett was employed at Lake Odessa Machine products for eight years. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Julie Kruger of Wooland and Barbara at home; one son, John at home; two grandchildren; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Lester Dawson of Clarksville, four brothers, Rev. Bernard Dawson of Red Oak, Iowa; Kenneth of Lowell, Fred of Eagle and Norman of Gardner, Kansas; and two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Fuller of Ionia and Mr. Elizabeth Blough of Clarksville. Services are Thursday at 1 pm from the Pickens-Koops funeral chapel in Lake Odessa. Burial is in the Clarksville cemetery.
