Carson City Gazette - Friday, Jan. 14, 1921

N. E. Bennett passed away Thursday morning, after a long illness. He was an 
old soldier nearly 80 years old, and had resided on the farm where he died 
since he was 11 years old. He is survived by his aged wife, five sons and four 
daughters. The funeral services were held from the home Sunday and burial was 
made at Shanty Plains.
