The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Thursday, February 1, 1917
William Bennett, a civil war veteran, died Saturday morning, helpless for past 
five years from paralysis.  He leaves a widow, one daughter and a son in 
Flushing.  Funeral services Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Nash, 
Episcopal mission, burial at White Cloud.
