The Ionia County News, Thursday, September 24, 1925
Aletha Fern Bennett, nine-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alta Bennett, 
living east of Frost corners, died Thursday forenoon, after an illness of two 
weeks.  Funeral services were held at the house Saturday, Rev. J. H. Bancroft 
officiating.  Burial was in Portland cemetery.  A sister of the deceased, Mrs. 
Clarence Dravenstatt, resides in Portland.
