Ionia Daily Sentinel, 24 Jan 1949

Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Bennett, who died at the Ionia hospital 
Wednesday, were held Saturday afternoon from the Myers funeral home.  The Rev. 
Wayne Davis, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiated.  Interment was in 
Highland Park cemetery.

Those attending her services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Delbert 
Ritenburg of Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Kavanaugh of Carson City, Harry Carten of 
Detroit, Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Green of Battle Creek, Mrs. Lloyd Baggerly of 
Battle Creek and Mrs. Ida Tew of Lake Odessa.
