Henry R. Bennett, 83, of Muir, died Wednesday, July 20, 1994, at his 
residence.  He was born May 10, 1911, in Matherton, Mich., the son of Alonzo 
and Bertha (Satterlee) Bennett.

He attended Saginaw Public Schools and was married to Eileen Martin in February 
of 1936.  They have resided in Muir ever since.

He retired from TRW in 1973, where he was employed as a machine operator.  He 
was also a member of the Golden Years Senior Citizens of Lyons-Muir.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen; two sons, Ronald (Penny) Bennett and Gary 
(Edith) Bennett, both of Muir; one daughter, Marylin Kirby of Ionia; nine 
grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Hull Memorial Chapel in 
Muir.  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with Rev. Kenneth 
Harger of the Shiloh Community Church officiating.  Burial will be in the East 
Plains Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Hospice of Ionia.
