Ionia Sentinel Standard, 22 May 1990

Edward R. Bensinger, 82, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ionia, died Monday at
Blodgett Memorial Medical Center.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth (Betty); four children, Ron of Roanoke, Va.,
Sandra Helderop of Dorr, Edward E. of Grand Rapids, Faith Kuykendall of
Kentwood; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandson; two brothers and one sister.

He retired after working 30 years for General Motors.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in Wealthy Park Baptist Church
in Grand Rapids.  Burial will be in Rosedale Mausoleum.  The family will be at
Metcalf and Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 4291 Cascade Road S.E., Grand Rapids, Tuesday
2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  A memorial has been established for the Children’s Bible Hour,
in care of the funeral home.
