Edith (Eydie) Marie Benson, 39, of Saranac passed away Friday, May 16, 2003, 
in Grand Rapids.  She was born November 8, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio the daughter 
of Edward and Beverly (Cordrey) Harris.  Eydie married Christopher Benson in 
Phoenix, Arizona on December 10, 1988.

She is survived by her loving husband Christopher Benson of Saranac; sister 
Brenda (Jack) Johnson of Nevada, Debbie Douglas of Ohio, Pam Knight of Ohio; 
half brother David (Dorie) Harris of Oregon; and half sister Janet Harris of 
Utah.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Memorial services are 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with 
Rev. Ken Harger officiating.  The family will receive friends and relatives 
Friday 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Anyone wishing may make memorial contributions to Saranac Fire Department.
