Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 20 Jan 1958

Ira H. Bentley, 88, died Sunday night at 11:10 p.m. at his farm home in Lyons
where he had lived since 1895.  For the past ten years Mr. Bentley had made his
home with Mr. and Mrs. Dale Townsend.  He suffered a stroke December 16, 1957. 
He was born at Kinderhook in Branch county September 20, 1869.  

Survivors include two nieces, Mrs. Coral (Baker) Terrill of Waldron and Mrs.
Bernice (Baker) Barnes of Detroit, and seven grand-nephews and grand-nieces. 

Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Shaw-Rivett funeral home in
Muir with the Rev. Richard Kidder of Lyons officiating.  Burial will be in the
Lyons cemetery.
