The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, March 9, 1925


The funeral service for James A. Bentley was largely attended from the 
residence of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph McQuillan, North Dexter street, Saturday 
afternoon at 2:30.  Rev. Joseph H. Green, pastor of the Presbyterian church, 
had charge of the service.  The bearers were old friends and neighbors and 
were Dr. J. J. Culp, William Marquette, Art Baxter, Emory Moore, William 
Stowell, and Joseph McQuillan.

Burial took place in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.  Those from out 
of town for the service were Mr. and Mrs. Don Cutler, of Detroit, and George 
Cutler, of Chicago.
