Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs.January 4, 1962

Agnes Benton, 88 Succumbs Saturday
Mrs. Agnes Benton, 88 a local resident for many years passed away Saturday at a 
Traverse City hospital where she had bee a patient for two months and had been 
at the Ionia Rest Home at Ionia for about a year. She had been in ill health for 
a long time.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas and a daughter Mrs. Ethel Poynter of Clair Mel 
City, Florida.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Lakeside Cemetery. Rev. F.J. Fitch officiated.

Mr. Benton is hospitalized at the Michigan Veteran Facility hospital, Grand 
Rapids.
