                                    Ned Berger Jr.

LAKE ODESSA-Ned C.Berger Jr., age 80 of Lake Odessa passed away July 18, 2022. 
He was born on March 29, 1942 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Ned and Lenore 
(Richards0n) Berger Sr.

Ned graduated from Ionia High School, Class of 1960, where he was a 4-sport 
standout athlete.He then graduated from MSU with a bachelor's degree.Ned joined 
his father,Ned Sr., at a young age working around the dealership and later would 
continue the Berger dealership legacy until his retirement in 2016.

Surviving Ned are his sons, Brett Berger of Ionia and Blake (Jill) Berger of 
Romeo; significant other, Maggie Kapp of Lake Odessa; grandchildren, Alex 
Berger, Brianna Berge, Bianca Berger and Brikelle Berger; great grandchild, 
Violet Berger; Maggies children Spencer Everts, Mary Everts, Royce Everts and 
Alex Everts; niece Taylor McGinn and Dana Stansel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Debe Berger-Sands and Diane 
Fosnow and nephew Devon Sand.

A memorial visitation will be held at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia on Sunday July 
31st from 2-4 pm with a celebration of live and light luncheon to follow at
