Lowell Ledger, 25 Dec 1975

Funeral services were held Thursday morning, December 18, at the Roth-Gerst
Funeral Home in Lowell for Boston Township farmer, Walter Bergy.  The Rev. Earl
Cross officiated at the services, with burial being made in South Boston
Cemetery.  Mr. Bergy, aged 72, of 6979 Hastings Road, Lowell, passed away
Monday, December 12, at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, following a
lingering illness.  

He is survived by his wife, Florence; his sons and daughters-in-law, Don and
Sondra and Dale and Sandra, all of Lowell; a daughter, Lois, at home; four
grandsons; one brother, Eugene of Caledonia; and a sister, Mrs. Irene Xegerrels
of Grand Rapids.  The family has requested that memorial contributions be made
to the American Cancer Society.
