Ionia Daily Sentinel - Saturday March 6, 1976

                              ROBERT O. BERKSHIRE

PORTLAND-Robert Omer Berkshire, 66 og 431 Smith, Portland, was dead on arrival 
Friday at St.Lawrence hospital. He hd suffered a fatal heart attack.

Born September 15, 1909, in New Albany, Ind., the son of Fred Berkshire and 
Ethel Jackson Berkshire.

He was employed as laboratory assistant at Barley Earhart Company of Portland.

Among his survivors are his wife, Ann, and mother, Mrs.Ethel Bogard of the Ionia 
Manor.

Rosary will be recited Sunday at 8 p.m. at the Neller funeral home at Portland.

Funeral Mass will be Monday at 11 a.m. at St.Patricks Catholic Church at 
Portland. Fr.Donald Weber will officiate and interment will be at the Portland 
Cemetery.

Bearers will be Roy Summers, Guy Jones,Merle odd, A.C. Barley, Robert Hirschman 
and Stanley Gross.
