PAUL J. BERNIER
Funeral services for Paul J Bernier, 28, of 509 Union will be Tuesday at SS  Peter
and Paul church. Interment will be at Mt.Olivet cemetery.

Mr. Bernier died early Saturday morning as a result of injuries sustained in an auto
accident on North Jefferson.

Born in Grand Rapids, September 3, 1944. He was the son of Jack and Noreen Horgan 
Bernier. He was a graduate of SS Peter and Paul academy with the class of 1964.
He was employed at Oldsmobile in Lansing seven years and lived most of his life in
the Ionia area. He served with the National Guard and also served with the army in
Korea. He was a member of the SS Peter and Paul church.

Surviving are his father, Jack Bernier of Detroit, mother Mrs. Noreen Bernier of
Ionia; four brothers, Joseph of Ionia, Pierre of Arizona, Michael of Detroit and Andre of
Florida; three sisters, Mrs. Nola Ake of Ionia, Donna Bernier of Florida and Shiela Bernier of
Arizona; grandmother, Mrs. Nona Horgan of Traverse City.

Rosary will be recited Monday at 8 p.m. at Myers-Roetman funeral home.
