                                 Joseph R.Bernier

Joseph R.Bernier 60, of Ionia, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010. He was born 
on May 6, 1950 in Grand Rapids.

Mr. Bernier loved NASCAR, his trips to Las Vegas and traveling. He enjoyed 
collecting coins and NASCAR memorabilia He was a loving brother and friend who 
always liked to joke around.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Noreen Bernier; brothers, Michael and 
Paul Bernier; nephew, Michael Joseph Moon.

Surviving are his siblings, Andre Bernier of Pensacola, Fla., Pierre Bernier of 
Ionia, Donna Bernier of Ionia, Nola Ake of Ionia, and Sheila (Mike) Charles of 
Ionia; nephews, Max Ake and Michael Charles II; nieces, Renay Ake and Rianna 
Charles.

We love you and will miss you.

The Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at the 
Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia with Deacon Zenon Cardenas, officiating. 
the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday.
