ERIC "E.J" BERRY 
Died Friday February 24, 2017-age 74 
Born at Newberry, MI November 23, 1942 to Jay and Fern (Terrian) Berry.
Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church & the Resurrection Choir and the Knight of 
Columbus 4th degree Fr. Godez Assembly.
Graduated from MSU & worked for State of Michigan-Office of Services to the 
Aging, then Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Michael.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Mary, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, sisters & 
brothers, several nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christmas Burial Monday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m.at St. Patrick's Catholic 
Church, Portland with Rev. Larry King, presiding. 
Rite of Committal at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lansing. 
Visitation 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Lehman Funeral Home, Portland. 
Rosary will be prayed at 3:00 p.m. 
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Educational Fund, Portland 
food bank, or K of C Diaper Drive. Online condolences may be made at
