SEBEWA RESIDENT DIES AT CHAPIN HOME
James Berry, Aged 91, Passed Away October 8. Funeral Monday Afternoon. Leaves 
Two Sisters and a Brother.

James Berry, of Sebewa who has been ill at the home of Mrs. Sidney Chapin for 
several months, died there last Saturday. He was 91 years, five months and 10 
days old. He has been cared for by Mrs Mabel Bouck, Mrs.Chapin's daughter.

He was a resident for many years of Sebewa, his wife dying at Traverse City and 
a son  Ross dying in Sebewa; both were buried at  Portland.

He leaves a brother Gerratt at Logansport, Ind., a sister Mrs Lettie Bales of 
Stanton, a nephew Robert Sherwood of Stanton, a niece Mrs. Bessie Cline at 
Greenville, and other relatives at Lansing and Grand Rapids.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Chapin home and burial was at 
Lakeside, Lake Odessa.
