Thomas M. Nesbitt, aged 49 years, died Monday in the Traverse City asylum.  He 
was a prominent resident of Ionia all his life and practiced law for many 
years.  He was a member and captain of the Michigan National guard for several 
years.  Mr. Nesbitt was twice prosecuting attorney of the county and once 
judge of probate.  He is survived by a widow and three children.  Mr. Nesbitt 
was a relative of Walter L. Reeves of Otisco, and was well known here.  The 
remains were brought to Ionia and buried Friday.
