Sept. 8, 2016 NAOMI R. BENJAMIN BESTROM 1922-2016 Naomi R. Benjamin Bestrom, of Grandville, Michigan, age 94 passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016. She was born to Henry Clay and Edna Bell (Landers) Roland on Feb. 13, 1922 in North Star, Michigan. Naomi was born the youngest daughter of nine children. Her father, who was the Pastor of the United Brethren Church, led her to the Lord at the age of 7. She graduated from Pewamo High School in 1942. She was married to Gerald Benjamin in September of 1942 and they had four children. After Gerald passed she was married to Bernard Ensly and after Bernard's passing she was married to Orlin Bestrom. Naomi is survived by her four children, Gary Benjamin (Sharon), Larry Benjamin (Mary), Mark (Lori) Benjamin and Eileen Crincic (Tom); 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and brother Ronald Roland. She was preceded in death by three husband, five brothers, two sisters and one grandson. The family would like to thank the staff of Cambridge Manor for their wonderful care during her time living there. They would also like to thank Spectrum Health Hospice for their care and compassion during the last. There will be a time of visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept, 7, 2016 at Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street NE, Rockford, MI 49241. the celebration service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016, at Grace Bible Church, 3715 Wilson Ave. Grandville, MI 49418. Prior to the service there will be a one hour visitation at church. A graveside committal will be offered at 3 p.m. at Mt. Rest Cemetery, MN. Kibbee road, St. John, MI 48879. Those wishing to offer expressions of sympathy are encouraged to make a contribution to Grove Bible Church for New Tribes Missions, 6990 E. Price road, St. Johns, MI 48879.
