ROSEMARY BETTMAN of East Lansing.
Died November 13, 2016-age 92 at East Lansing. MI.
Born Ionia County on October 9, 1925 to Francis and Catherine Lawless
Rosemary was one of seven children raised in rural Irish family in Portland .
Predeceased by husband, George L. Bettman of 66 years in 2009, brother Pat and 
sister Betty. 
Survived by seven children, 2 brothers, & sister, Kate, 21 grandchildren, 6 
great-grandchildren, many nieces & nephews.
Received Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education from Central 
Michigan University & Master of Science in Child Psychology from University of 
Michigan.
Active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Altar Society, St. Anthony's Guild, 
Republican Party Delegate, Right to Life Board member, & Elementary teacher. 
Visitation Friday, Nov. 17 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., with Rosary at 7:30 at Gorsline- 
Runciman Funeral Home, East Lansing, MI. 
Funeral Mass Saturday Nov. 18 at  St. Thomas Aquinas Church in East Lansing.
Contributions either to St. Thomas Aquinas Church or Right to Life of Ingham Co, 
Holt, MI.
