Richard Lee Beukama died Thursday morning at his home at the age of 66.  He was 
born September 22, 1909, to the parents of Jacob and Ella (Corwin) Beukama.  

He married Pauline Brown February 14, 1930 in Ionia.  She preceded him in 
death.  He had lived in the Trufant area for the past 20 years.  He was a self-
employed milk hauler until 1972 when he retired.

He is survived by one son, Robert Beukama of Saranac; two grandchildren, Mrs. 
Teresa Hill of Saranac and Linda Beukama at home; one great grandchild.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Roetman funeral home in 
Saranac.  Rev. James Frank will officiate.  Interment will be at the Saranac 
cemetery.
