The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, December 16, 1932

John Thomas Beyer, the 16 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest W. Beyer, died 
at the home of his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Walsh, Cyrus 
street, at 12:30 Friday morning from a complication which followed whooping 
cough and measles, pneumonia developing.

He was the only child.  He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. 
John Beyer of Madison, Tenn.

Funeral services will be held at SS. Peter and Paul church Monday morning at 9 
o’clock. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
