Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 Oct 1967

Maurice J. Bice, Sr., 58, of 426 North street, died Saturday afternoon shortly 
after admittance to Ionia County Memorial hospital.  He was born in Portland, 
June 19, 1909, the son of Arthur and Edith Bice.  May 11, 1929 he was married 
to Hazel Brand and was employed with Smith Plastics and their predecessors.

Surviving are his wife Hazel; one son Maurice J. Bice, Jr., at home; one 
sister, Mrs. Murl Childs of Saranac; one brother Lewis Bice.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Stone-Kauffman funeral home 
with Rev. John Scott officiating.  Burial will be in Tuttle cemetery.
