He was a veteran of World War II and employed as butcher at City Fruit market. He was born October 18, 1919, son of Hiram and Louise Miller and after the death of his mother, was raised by his grandmother, Mrs. Amelia Bielow. Surviving are his wife, Grace; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Cuttle and Mrs. Janet Culp of Ionia, and Mrs. Mary Simmons of Grand Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Maxine Hazzard of Toledo; four grandchildren. A son, Arthur died in infancy. Funeral service will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church with Pastor Marvin C. Hueller officiating. Burial will be in Saranac cemetery. The body will be at Boynton funeral home until time of service.
