Miller on North Jefferson street at 2:30 o'clock on Sunday afternoon, after an illness with typhoid-pneumonia, complicated with a abscess on lung, which confined him to his bed for four days. Deceased was the mason and repair man at the south side asylum, and was at his work on the Tuesday preceding his death. On Wednesday he took to his bed, but spoke confidently to his friends that he would be up in a week. But it was not so to be. Mr. Bielow was aged 42 years; he was born in Germany, and came to this country, and direct to Ionia, 25 years ago. This city has been his home continuously since. He was a man of exceptional character, and numbered many friends in the community. The wife and five small children - the oldest 11 years and the youngest 1 year - are left to mourn his demise. The funeral will be attended at the late home at 1:30 o'clock on Wednesday afternoon, and at 2 o'clock at the Lutheran church. Interment in Highland Park.
