Sentinel-Standard - Friday, Feb. 9, 1923

Mrs. Rosina Bierlien, for  many years a resident of Ionia township passed away 
this morning. Mrs. Bierlien was past 89 years of age, and has been a resident 
of this county for more than 25 years. Her husband died many years ago, and 
since that time she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. John Rothgang, 
on Ionia route number seven. Besides Mrs. Rothgang she leaves several 
grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. 
Rothgang, Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will take place in Highland 
Park cemetery.
