Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Apr 1947

Mrs. Ann Bigelow of East Washington street died Tuesday afternoon at 3:30
o’clock at the Ionia County Memorial hospital after being fatally burned at her
home when her clothing caught fire from a gas heater.  Mrs. Bigelow was born in
Little Falls, N.Y.  She came to Ionia in 1876 where she has lived all of her
life.  Her husband, Charles A. Bigelow, veteran Pere Marquette engineer, died
many years ago.

She is survived by one nephew, Claude Rowe, of El Paso, Texas, and one cousin,
Allen Gilbert, of Grand Rapids.

Christian Science funeral services will be held from the Myers funeral home
Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
