Ionia Daily Standard, 9 Aug 1913

The funeral for the late Chas. Bigelow was attended from the residence on East
Washington street Friday afternoon at 2:30 the hour having been set at that time
instead of Saturday as was at first planned.  In response to the wishes of Mr.
Bigelow often expressed, the service was simple and consisted of the Episcopal
church service given by Rev. Cyrus Mendenhall.  Burial was in Highland Park
cemetery.  Among those who attended the service was a sister Mrs. L.A. Kelso,
and a brother, Henry S. Bigelow and daughters, Ethel and Mrs. G.F. Allen, all
from Decatur, Illinois.
