Bigelow was born in Franklin, Oakland county, January 8th, 1870, and passed away at Harper hospital in Detroit November 19th, 1915, aged 45 years, 10 months and 21 days. His early life was spent in Franklin, later moving with his parents to Williamston. For fifteen years he was employed on the Grand Trunk and Pere Marquette railroads as engineer. For the past twelve years he has been an electrician at the Wager dam. In 1895 he was married to Miss Mary McGilvery in Detroit. To them were born three children, Blanche, Mabel and John H., who with the widow survive. The funeral was held last Thursday from the home of his mother, Mrs. H. M. Bigelow, in Williamston, under the auspices of the F.&A.M., of which he had been a member for many years. The floral offerings were beautiful and gave silent witness to the esteem in which deceased was held. Card of Thanks: To the friends and neighbors we express our thanks for kindness shown during our recent bereavement; also to donors of flowers. Mrs. C. S. Bigelow and family.
