Mrs. Lulu (Luella) M.(Hutchinson) Bills, 83, of 316 North Jackson street died
Saturday evening at 6:35 at Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids, where she had
been a patient for one week.  Born in Indiana October 8, 1873, she was a
daughter of Thomas H. and Rebecca (Martin) Hutchinson and was married to the
late Horatio Seymour Bills.  She had resided at her present residence for the
past 46 years, coming to Ionia in 1911 from Hastings.  Mrs. Bills was one of the
oldest members of the Evangelical United Brethren church and had taught Sunday
school classes for some time.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Marguerette Rose of Ionia, three sons, Thomas
of Grand Rapids, George of Rockford and Robert of Howard City, 21 grandchildren
and 23 great-grandchildren.

The body will lie in state at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday and funeral
services will be conducted at 2 o’clock.  The Rev. John F. Price, pastor of the
E.U.B. church will officiate and interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
