Roger Bills, 65, of Howard City, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2006, at his
residence.  He was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Ionia, the son of Robert and LaVina
Hubbard Bills.  Roger worked as a carpenter for most of his life.  He enjoyed
hunting, fishing and making different craft items.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Wayne, Ray and
Raymond.  He is survived by daughter, Tracey of Big Rapids; two sons, Tom and
Christopher of Detroit; several grandchildren; two brothers, Robert and Alice of
Broham, Roy and Arlene of Howard City; four sisters, Louise and Fay Culver of
Howard City, Luelle and Melvin Ludlow of Orleans, Loretta and Ron Scram,
Lorraine and Phil Scram Moore, all of Cedar Springs; and several nieces and
nephews.

Services are 11 a.m. April 8 at Heckman Funeral home, Howard City, with Pastor
Wayne Cash officiating.  Burial is in Reynolds Township Cemetery.  Memorials to
the Howard City VFW Post may be left at the funeral home, where friends may call
from 10 a.m. until the time of services April 8.
