Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday, July 21, 1931

Claude Bingaman, of Vicksburg, brother of Rev. A. L. Bingaman, of Ionia, died 
Monday afternoon after a brief illness. Mr. Bingaman had been a man of robust 
health until stricken a few days ago, ulcers of the stomach weakening the linings 
so that the stomach ruptured. The funeral services will be held Wednesday at the 
West Mendon Evangelical church. The burial will be in Mendon.

Besides the brother in Ionia, Mrs. Bingaman leaves two children, Clifford, 17 and 
Isabel, 15; a brother, Emery of Olivet; a sister, Mrs. Lola Richmond of Moore 
Park and parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.O. Bingaman.
