Lake Odessa Wave - July 7, 1955
          RUTH BIPPLEY DIED TUESDAY
   Miss Ruth E. Bippley, 42, of Jordan Lake St. passed away at Pennock hospital late
Tuesday night from a 
heart condition.  She was admitted to the hospital earlier in the afternoon.
   Ruth was born in Ann Arbor, the daughter of William and Myrtle Bippley and lived
on a farm northeast of 
town before moving to Lansing where they lived for 16 years and moved here three
weeks ago.
   She was stricken with polio when two years of age and again two years ago July 6.
 She had been employed 
by McFarland's drug store in Lansing for four years.
   Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Charles Darling and step father, Mr. Darling, one
brother, Edward Bippley of 
Centerline and one step sister, Mrs. Donald (Vivian) Croope of Midland.
   She reposes at the Pickens funeral chapel where the funeral services will be held
Friday at 2 with burial in 
Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. Vernon Beardsley of elsie will officiate.
