Her early life was spent in Sebewa, Portland vicinity and Oceana county. When sixteen years of ag she came back to this vicinity and has lived here ever since. She was a kind and loving mother, always doing everything she could to benefit or help her children and ever willing to hear any sorrow or burden if it would help a friend or neighbor. She leaves to mourn their loss, two daughter, Mrs Bertha Brooks and Mrs.Dorothy Warner, and one son Donal, at home. Fred preceded her in death in 1922, and her husband last July. She also leaves a sister Mrs.Anna VanHouten of Lake Orion and a brother Burt of Wisconsin. I have found the joys of Heaven I am one of the angel band To my head a crown is given And a harp is in my hand, I have learned the song they sing, Whom Jesus has made free And the glorious walls of Heaven shall ring, With my new born melody.
