Belding Banner News-Thurs. Jan. 3, 1963

DONALD H. BIRD
Donald H. Bird, aged 50, of 115 E. Liberty St., Belding, passed away unexpectedly
early Tuesday morning at the Veterans Hospital in Saginaw.

Surviving are his wife Esther; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Woodman and Mrs. David Eady

both of Belding; his mother  Mrs. Katherine Ohlinger of Belding; two brothers,
Edward of Lake Orion, and Lee of Morley; four sisters, Mrs. Carole Watts of Pontiac, Mrs. Ruth
Helm of Lake, Mrs. Jessie Tift and Mrs. Marjorie Denman both of Belding, and nine
grandchildren.

Mr. Bird was born in Pontiac, but had lived in the Belding area most of his life. He
was a World War II Veteran.

Funeral services will be held Friday, at 2 p.m. from the Fitzjohn funeral Home with
the Rev. Ralph Dean of Central methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in River Ridge
Cemetery, Belding.
