Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Apr 1970

Noah J. Bishop, 77, of 1555 Johnson road, Orleans, died late Wednesday afternoon
at Ionia County Memorial hospital.  He was born November 30, 1892, in Easton
township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marchant Bishop, and was a lifetime farmer. 
He was married February 25, 1914, to Hazel G. Goodwin in Easton township.  He
was a life member of Ionia Elks and Farm Bureau.

Surviving besides his wife, Hazel, are two daughters, Mrs. Doris Conner of
Saranac and Mrs. Dorothy Blumerick of Tecumseh; ten grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Morris-Roetman funeral home in
Saranac.  Pastor Joe Everett will officiate and interment will be at Easton
cemetery.  A memorial has been established for the heart fund.
