Ionia Daily Sentinel, 16 Feb 1961

Mrs. Hazel L. Bishop, 42, of 210 Parmeter road, died at Ionia County Memorial
hospital Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.  She had been a patient since Saturday and had
been ill the past 10 days.

Mrs. Bishop was born February 25, 1918 in Ionia county, the daughter of Robert
and Jennie Davis Dinning, and spent her entire life in Ionia.

She was married to DeVilo Bishop of Ionia, July 29, 1937.  They had resided at
their present home the past five years.

Surviving are her husband, DeVilo; two sons, Max D., a junior at University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor, and William, a sophomore at Ionia high school; one brother,
Herbert Dinning of Ionia; a sister, Mrs. Thayne Bernier of Kalamazoo, and her
stepmother, Mrs. Ida Dinning of Ionia.

Service will be held at First Baptist church Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
John W. Tennyson officiating.  Burial will be at Easton cemetery.  The family
will be at the Boynton funeral home Thursday and Friday evenings from 7 until 9
p.m.
