Ionia Shopper's Guide-Sat. Feb. 4, 2017

BISHOP
Eleanor A. Bishop age 81 of Ionia, MI passed away January 28, 2017. She was 
born August 15, 1935 in Fort Wayne,IN, the daughter of Ralph and Marian 
(Baker) Talbot. She married Fred Bishop in September 2002. 

Eleanor was very active in her Community. She assisted her husband Fred with 
many service groups and activities. She loved her family, church and 
community. Eleanor lived by "Pay if Forward". She was an honorary member of 
the Marine Corp League and helped coordinate the new Ionia VFW.

Eleanor is survived by her husand Fred, daughter Dawn Tafoya of Lansing, 
grandson's Luke Fabian of Denver and Matthew Fabian of Denver, step-son Dave 
(Amanda) Bishop of Kentucky, special friend Faith Stiles of Ionia, many 
brothers, sister-in-law's, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was 
preceded in death by her parent and sister Caroline.

Upon her request, there will be no services. Arrangements were made by Lake 
Funeral Home of Ionia. Memorial contributions may be made to Ionia VFW or
