Ionia Sentinel Standard, 4 Nov 1991

Lillian Hinds Bittenbender, 70, a former Ionia area resident, died at her home
Nov. 2 after a long illness.  Her home was at Space 112, 2681 Cameron Park
Drive, Cameron Park, California 95682.  She was born May 2, 1921, in Orange
Township, the daughter of Roy and Sarah Payne Hinds, and was graduated from
Ionia High School in 1939.  She was married to Arthur Maurice Bittenbender July
6, 1944.  They had made their home in California since 19??.

Surviving are her husband Arthur Maurice; three sons, William and Larry? of
California and Kenneth of Oregon; a daughter, Carol Knight, also of California;
several grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Jerry (Norien) Carpenter, formerly of
Lake Odessa and now of Bonita Springs, Fla.

Cremation and private services have taken place.
