Ionia Sentinel Standard, 27 Feb 1990

Herman H. Bittner, 84, formerly of Ionia and Lyons, died Feb. 23, in South
Pasadena, Fla.  He was born July 14, 1905 in Escanaba, the son of Theodore and
Flora Dault Bittner.  He retired from the Michigan Reformatory in Ionia and
Amway Corporation.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one daughter, Faith Zoller of Callaha,
Fla.; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death
by his first wife, Helga and one daughter, Hope Agostini.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Dykstra Funeral Home on
Douglas Street, Holland.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 p.m.
