Ionia County News – Tuesday, 25 October 1927

Funeral Services for Mrs. Alvina Bixby, 53, were held Monday from the Wesleyan 
Methodist church at Clarksville.  Mrs. Bixby died Thursday at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Katherine Dausman, of Boston, with whom she made her home.  
Death came from a lingering illness of more than a year’s duration.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dausman and Mrs. Lloyd Welton of Sand 
Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Nathaniel Todd, Mrs. G. Snyder, and Mrs. Phrena 
Jepson, Clarksville; a brother, Frank Breandle, and her father and mother, Mr. 
and Mrs. Levi Breandle of Clarksville.

Burial was at Clarksville cemetery.
