Feb. 11, 1964 JAMES A BLACK Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clear Lake United Brethren church near Fenwick for James A. Black, 80 of route two, Fenwick who died Sunday at his farm home. He was born October 29, 1882 at Perry and had been a resident of Fairplains township the past 51 years. He was a farmer and carpenter, and a former employe of Carnation Milk Plant at Sheridan. Mr. Black was a life member of Sheridan Masonic lodge and a member of Farm Union. Surviving are his wife, the former Etta Lunt to whom he was married in 1910; two daughters, Mr. Retha Ruhle of Annette, Alaska, and Mrs. Winifred Walters of route two, Fenwick; two sons, Russell Black of Fenwick, and Laurence of Greenville; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside Masonic service will be held at Clear Lake cemetery.
