Funeral service for Mrs. Harriet K. Blackman, 96, who died Sunday in an Ionia 
rest home, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Neller funeral home in Portland.

Born June 21, 1867 in Kent, England, she was the widow of Grant Blackman, and 
had been a resident of Bidwell convalescent home in Sebewa for five years prior 
to moving to Ionia rest home.

She was a member of the Portland church of the Nazarene.

Surviving are three sons, Ralph E. Blackman of Elk Rapids, Dale S. of Detroit 
and Russell F. of Portland; four grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one 
great-great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Anna Shattuck of Owosso; three 
brothers, Charles Hazel and Alfred Hazel of lake Odessa and Oliver Hazel of 
Lansing.

Rev. Carl A. Noffsinger and Rev. Robert S. Treet will officiate at the service 
and burial will be at Portland cemetery.
