Greenville Daily News, 17 Dec 1984

Greenville – Funeral services were held Sunday for Paul N. Blackmer, 61, 116 ½
Depot St., Ionia, who died Friday at his home.  Born Jan. 11, 1923, in Bloomer
Township, he was the son of Ezra and Bessie Blackmer.  He was a member of the
National Rifle Association. 

Surviving are his wife, Mazie; two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Patricia) Jones, Big
Rapids and Mrs. Rick (Linda) Tabor, Greenville; four sons, Robert and Sonja,
Ionia, Danny and Karen, Lakeview, Douglas and Michelle, Elwell, Randy and Susan,
Vestaburg; 15 grandchildren; 11step-grandchildren and seven
step-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are a sister, Dorothy Miller, Muir;
and three step-children, Mazie Ann Lathan and Sonia Cook of Weidman and Leland
Barber, Greenville.  There are several nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted at Brown-Teman Funeral Home, Greenville, Pastor Jim
Crawford officiating, with interment in Bloomer Township Cemetery.  Memorial
contributions may be made to the Michigan Heart Association.

children, was Jean Proctor.]
