Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 13 Apr 1935

Funeral services for Henry E. Blackmore, who died Wednesday afternoon following
a long illness, were held from the home, 422 West Washington Street, Friday
afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. A.L. Bingaman, pastor of the Evangelical
church, officiating.  Bearers were Bert Bailey, Thomas Rich, F.A. Marker,
Charles Erickson, Ralph Gilchrist and Leon McQuillan.  Members of the Oddfellows
attended the services in a body and acted as escort.  Interment was at the
Highland Park mausoleum and burial will be made later.
