She was born September 5, 1910, in Bedford, Ind., the daughter of John and Minta Borders and attended the Indiana schools. For many years she worked at convalescent homes and did domestic housework. She was a member of Pewamo United Methodist church and its women's group and also the Order of Eastern Star of Lyons. May 6, 1950 she was married to Elmer Blair who survives. She also leaves three sons, William Spelts of Logan Lake, British Columbia, Canada, Freeman Spelts of Bremen, Ind., and Arthur James Smith of Owosso; two daughters, Mrs.Betty St.Johns of Sullivan, Ind., and Elizabeth Blair of Plymouth 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Pewamo United Methodist Church. Dr.Loyd Walker will officiate with interment at East Plains Cemetery. Until noon Wednesday Mrs.Blair will be at the Hull-Memorial Chapel in Muir.
